The first time we went to this great fun city we spent so much money that we ended up paying for it for months afterwards. The second time, to avoid spending a fortune, we stayed at the cheapest motels, which seriously put a psychological dent to our fun. Some of the cheapest motels (but not all!) are truly depressing and you would not want to sleep there without your own sleeping bag, which then you need to run through the drier for extra bug-free safety!
But you can enjoy this fun city without breaking your bank account and, above all, you don't have to compromise on quality. These days we stay at the most luxurious resorts and we spend from 0 to 50 dollars a night maximum. We also save a fortune on dining and shows.
So, what to do?
1 - always book through your casino players' card account. If you do that - online or by calling casino marketing - you will receive amazing special offers. Right now we are comped at the Mirage (fabulous place), which means we pay zero for a great resort room.
2 - Use specific travel sites such as i4vegas, where you can find great special rates even if you don't have a casino players account. Such offers extend to dining and shows, packaged with your room specials.
3 - Avoid the most general but popular travel websites, because their offers are not 'special' at all. Equally, don't book through the resort's website unless it's the Excalibur (by the way, you don't have to stay at the Excalibur!!)
